Phonic Sound Mats
We provide sound mats ranging from the Alphabet sound mat to Phase 5 providing a collection of phonemes for children to recall.
Each sound is accompanied with a visual clue to help your child recognise the sound that each letter makes with better understanding.
The sound mats encourage children to find the grapheme (written) version of the sound when reading and allows children to gain confidence in identifying the different sounds.
We also have a cursive version of the sound mats to encourage children to recognise cursive lettering early on.
